Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how iTs Media LLC collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when you use iTsChat, including the age-gated protected-chat experience, billing flows, and support channels available at launch.

Effective date: May 1, 2026

Operator identity and contact

iTsChat is operated by iTs Media LLC. Privacy requests, support questions, and billing-related questions can be sent to support@itsmedia.net.

If you ask us to delete account or data records by email, we will use that address as the current launch support path while the product is still operating without a separate helpdesk.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as age-gate confirmations, authentication details, onboarding/profile settings, support submissions, billing-related account state, and messages you send inside the protected chat.

We also collect technical and operational data needed to run the service, including session cookies, promo referral cookies, analytics events, token-wallet and subscription records, and storage metadata when you upload feedback evidence such as screenshots or recordings.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service, enforce the configured 21+ adult-access requirement, authenticate users, run billing and subscription flows, provide companion responses, honor account settings, and investigate support or abuse issues.

We also use limited analytics and operational records to understand launch performance, verify purchase and onboarding flows, debug beta issues, and improve the product. During beta, protected chat surfaces may be included in owner-run session replay review for troubleshooting.

Voice, Speech, and AI Processing

iTsChat allows users to interact with fictional AI companions by text and, where enabled, by voice. When you use voice features, your audio input may be processed to convert speech into text. That text, along with your selected companion, conversation context, account settings, and related technical information, may then be processed by our AI providers to generate a response.

We use third-party service providers to operate these features, including providers for speech-to-text, large-language-model responses, text-to-speech, hosting, security, analytics, billing, and customer support. These providers process information on our behalf as needed to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and support the Service.

Voice input is used to provide the voice-chat feature. We do not intentionally store raw voice input longer than necessary to transcribe the request, operate the Service, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Transcripts, generated AI messages, selected companion settings, account information, usage history, and related metadata may be stored byiTsChat to maintain conversation continuity, provide account features, process billing, improve the Service, provide support, detect misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Current provider: xAI

Speech-to-Text Provider: xAI

When xAI speech-to-text is enabled, we send voice input to xAI API services to convert spoken audio into text so that the AI companion can respond.

xAI may process audio input, transcripts, prompts, generated outputs, metadata, and related request information as needed to provide, secure, monitor, and enforce its services. According to xAI's API documentation, xAI does not train on API inputs or outputs without explicit permission. xAI also states that API requests and responses may be temporarily stored for abuse and misuse auditing unless Zero Data Retention is enabled for the applicable account.

Unless we specifically state otherwise, iTsChatdoes not have Zero Data Retention enabled for xAI services. This means that voice-related API requests, transcripts, prompts, outputs, and associated metadata sent to xAI may be subject to xAI's standard API retention and review practices.

We do not use xAI speech-to-text to train iTsChat models.

Cookies, sessions, and analytics

iTsChat uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep the age-gated and authenticated product flow working. These include session cookies for authenticated entry, promo referral cookies, and browser storage used to preserve limited launcher handoff context.

We use PostHog for product analytics and beta session replay so we can understand onboarding, checkout, product usage, and browser playback failures. During beta, this may include protected/private chat surfaces such as /app, /app/account, or /app/memory for owner-run troubleshooting.

Third-party processors

At launch, iTsChat relies on third-party providers to run core product functions. These may include Google for authentication, Stripe for payments and subscription billing, Supabase for database and storage services, PostHog for analytics, xAI/Grok for companion runtime responses, ElevenLabs for voice generation when enabled, Resend for notifications, and Google Cloud for hosting and deployment infrastructure.

These providers receive only the information reasonably needed for the service they perform. Payment card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by iTs Media LLC.

Protected-chat privacy boundary, retention, and deletion

Protected chat is treated as a more sensitive surface than the public landing experience. The product stores protected transcript data to support continuity, account-owned usage, and related support or billing operations. During beta, protected chat may also appear in owner-run PostHog replay review for troubleshooting; that replay posture is intended to be disabled before the full live launch unless the policy is explicitly updated.

Users can already clear visible protected chat history from account settings. Users may also request account or data deletion by emailing support@itsmedia.net. We retain data only as needed to operate the service, maintain security, support billing and account history, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Sensitive credentials and billing secrets remain server-side. We do not sell personal information collected through the product.
